Comcare contributes to a secure, safer, fairer, more productive and socially inclusive Australia.

The 2015 Plan tells our story and conveys our vision.

Our focus is to put citizens at the centre of what we do—workers and their families.

We partner with federal workers, their employers and unions, to keep workers healthy and safe at work, so they can return safely each day to their families, friends and communities.

We support workers in their recovery from injury and help them and their families cope with the change and challenge that result from workplace harm.

We provide a sustainable injury compensation scheme that is fair and responsive for the workers and their families who rely on it, while representing value for money for employers.

The 2015 Plan comes from listening to our community. It will shape the changes needed to build a stronger Comcare in our third decade as a statutory authority.

We’ll work together to design better ways of delivering our services, drawing on world’s best practice and the advice of experts. This will preserve the financial integrity and stability of the Comcare scheme.

By working together we’ll lift productivity, increase workforce participation and reduce social exclusion to deliver on the Government’s long-term priorities.

Our journey to 2015 is one we take together, doing our very best to help build a secure, stronger, fairer Australia.
