The Comcare Annual Report documents the activities and performance of Comcare from 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010. The Comcare Annual Report complies with the requirements contained in the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies Act 1997 (CAC Act) and in particular Part 2 of the Commonwealth Authorities and Companies (Report of Operations) Orders 2008.

Collaboration—Details about how Comcare is collaborating with other organisations like the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC), Comcover, and other regulators through the harmonisation of work health and safety laws.
Impact—Report on Comcare’s performance in relation to the outcome and outputs framework described in the 2010–11 Portfolio Budget Statements (PBS). The three sections of this part reflect the following outcomes:
Outcome 1: Protection of the health, safety and welfare at work of workers covered by the Comcare scheme through education, assurance and enforcement.
Outcome 2: Early and safe return to work as well as access to compensation for injured workers covered by the Comcare scheme—working in partnership with employers to create best practice in rehabilitation and quick and accurate management of workers’ compensation claims.
Outcome 3: Access to compensation for management of claims.
