Stage one: Application

To apply for the Graduate Development Program, click on one of the following links:

As part of the application process, you will need to complete the online application form and submit the following documentation:

  • your Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • a copy of your academic transcript
  • your response to the selection criteria.

Selection criteria documents

Applications will open on Thursday 22 October 2009 and close at midnight on Thursday 5 November 2009.

Stage two: Short listing

Short listing will take place shortly after applications close. Applicants that have met the mandatory requirements will be asked to complete an online psychometric test.

Applicants will be rated on the responses made against the selection criteria together with individual test results and will be notified of their progression to the next round via email.

During the short-listing and interview stages, it is important that contact details are kept updated so that we can keep in contact with you. If you do change your contact details during the process please email graduate.recruitment@comcare.gov.au with your updated details.

Stage three: Interviews

Interviews will take place in early December. Due to the tight time frames, alternative dates for interviews may not be available.

Applicants that are invited to attend an interview will be asked to bring photo identification and a written reference from one or more of their nominated referees. Candidates will be provided with a template that will need to be completed and brought along to the interview.

Stage four: Offers

The selection process is usually completed by mid-December and offers will be made prior to Christmas.

Successful applicants will commence the Graduate Development Program in mid-February 2010.
