Comcare’s Work Health and Safety Awards recognise and reward excellence in workplace health and safety, rehabilitation and return to work achieved by individuals and organisations operating within or providing a service for the Comcare scheme. Comcare administers the awards with the assistance of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission (SRCC).

Who should enter?

Entry for the 2014 Comcare Work Health and Safety Awards is open to organisations and individuals operating within or providing a service for the Comcare scheme. Specifically, to be eligible to enter:

Categories one to five: the entrant must be covered by the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) (WHS Act)

Category six: the entrant must be covered by and/or operate within the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act).

Category seven: the entrant must be a third party service provider to an organisation covered by and/or operating within the SRC Act.

Category eight: the entrant must manage claims submitted under the SRC Act.

Recognition—be publicly acknowledged for your commitment to and excellence in workplace health and safety, or rehabilitation and return to work.

Reputation—be identified as a leader who embraces innovative practices in workplace health and safety, rehabilitation and return to work.

Raise awareness—share your story and showcase your achievements in workplace health and safety, or rehabilitation and return to work.

Celebration—celebrate your success with colleagues and industry peers at a formal awards gala dinner.
