How to Enter

Entrants will be assessed by a sub-committee of the SRCC and this process may include site visits. The sub-committee will recommend to the SRCC the winners in each category.

Checklist 

Entries should identify which award category they wish to be considered for, and include:

  • An entry form
  • A summary of the submission that covers the following key aspects:
About Us (maximum 100 words)

    The Problem (maximum 150 words)

    The Approach (maximum 200 words)

    The Outcome (maximum 150 words)

    Any Plans for the Future (maximum 100 words)

    • A response to each dot point of the Assessment Criteria (maximum 350 words each)
    • Any attachments / evidence to support your application
    • Submit four copies of your application.

    Entries should include:

    • A description of the project objective(s)
    • A statement of results/benefits addressing the relevant award category criteria
    • A statement of capacity for further development (if applicable). 

    General Guidelines 

    Within each category, criteria is listed in dot point format, under the heading Assessment Criteria. Please ensure the following requirements are met:

    1. Your response should address each dot point contained under the Assessment Criteria. Responses should contain no more than 350 words for each dot point.

    2. If evidence is required to support your submission, ensure you send only the evidence requested. All evidence must be presented in A4 or equivalent format.

    3. Include a summary of your application covering the following key areas:

    • About your organisation
    • The problem and/or challenge
    • The approach
    • The outcome
    • Any plans for the future.

    This summary must be presented as a separate attachment for use in the Program of Events booklet on Awards night if your application is selected as a finalist. The word limit is listed above.

    4. Submit four copies of your application in A4 format (one in unbound A4 format).

    5. Further attachments to your submission must be in A4 format and should only be included if they are integral to the application.

    6. Do not send marketing and promotional material such as: CDs, caps, badges, pens, coffee mugs, drink bottles, posters or any other paraphernalia – mention these in your application if they are integral to the submission.
