Effective Safety Risk Management in Research and Development

The 2017 Research and Development (R&D) Work Health and Safety (WHS) Community of Practice Forum hosted by Comcare and Defence Science and Technology (DST) is focused on sharing our best practice approach to WHS within R&D organisations operating under the Commonwealth jurisdiction.

The R&D Community of Practice’s key aim will be to foster learning, share knowledge and understand emerging areas of safety risk pertinent to R&D organisations. Terms of reference for the community will be developed.

Who should attend?

  • Work health and safety professionals working within a R&D organisation.
  • Interested research staff with a requirement to develop systems of safety.
  • Mangers, safety coordinators, advisors and practitioners, occupational health and hygiene specialists.

Registration for the event will close on Friday 10 November 2017, however, requests for registration after the closing date may be made directly to the points of contact listed below. The event is free however agencies are responsible for their own travel costs.
