Occupational Health and Safety (Commonwealth Employment) (National Standards) Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 1) (FRLI number F2007L00545)
These Regulations insert three new parts into the Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Standards) Regulations 1994 to give effect to the National Standard for the Control of Major Hazard Facilities, impose specific duties regarding the safe use of electricity, and require the implementation of suitable plans to manage the fatigue of drivers of heavy vehicles. Occupational Health and Safety (Commonwealth Employment) (National Standards) Amendment Regulations 2007 (No. 2) - (FRLI number F2007L00461)
These Regulations amend the Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Standards) Regulations 1994 to give partial legislative effect to the National Standard for Construction Work declared by the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission in 2005 and impose specific duties on employers, employees and contractors in relation to work where there is a risk of fall from 2 metres or more. These Regulations also amend Part 8 to extend in part its coverage to the storage and handling of explosives in the workplace and provide for the notification of explosives.
