2011 Amendment to the OHS (SS) Regulations

Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Standards) Amendment Regulations 2011 (No. 1)

On 10 March 2011, the Governor-General gave Royal Assent to the Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Standards) Amendment Regulations 2011 (No. 1) (OHSAR). The OHSAR amendments give effect to the 7th Edition of the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail and the 3rd Edition of the Australian Code for the Transport of Explosives by Road and Rail. Some additional housekeeping matters, which primarily concern updated references to the Australian Standards in Part 4 (Plant) and Schedule 5 of the Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Standards) Regulations 1994, have also been included.

The date of effect for the OHSAR amendments is 16 March 2011.
