Comcare’s operational standards for Approved Rehabilitation Program Providers require all providers working under the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 to attend this full-day training program as an introduction to working within the Commonwealth workers’ compensation system.

It outlines Comcare’s return to work model, the legislation, procedural aspects of the return to work process and examines issues which may arise during the return to work process.

Update for Approved Rehabilitation Program Providers

This half-day program provides Comcare Approved Rehabilitation Providers with the opportunity to keep abreast of changes or to refresh their knowledge and understanding of Comcare’s return to work model; procedural aspects of the return to work process; amendments to the legislation; current court decisions and their implications to rehabilitation case management. 

This will ensure that ARPs’ working knowledge of the SRC Act, Comcare and working within the Commonwealth jurisdiction remains current. It also provides the experienced Approved Rehabilitation Provider with an opportunity to clarify any issues of concern.
