2009 Certificate IV Government (Injury Rehabilitation Management) Scholarship recipients announced

As part of Safe Work Australia Week 2009, Comcare announced the sponsorship of four scholarships for professionals working in the specialist field of injury management.

The scholarships provide the opportunity for recipients to continue their professional development and gain a nationally recognised qualification - a Certificate IV Government (Injury Rehabilitation Management) (PSP40904).

We are very pleased to announce that the recipients of the scholarships are:

  • Scott Beasley, Department of Human Services – Child Support Program
  • Kate Cleary, Department of Immigration and Citizenship
  • Steven McNally, Border Express
  • Chelsea Drewsen, ACT Government – Department of Disability, Housing and Community Services

Well done to all of the scholarship winners! Over the course of the year, we will publish interviews with each winner in our quarterly publication Working with You. You can check out Scott Beasley’s profile in the latest edition.

The Certificate IV is delivered in partnership by Comcare and the Australian Public Service Commission (the registered training organisation). Completing this qualification is a great way to be recognised for your experience and skills in injury management. It is also an ideal avenue to further develop and/or update your knowledge and skills in the field.

You will be able to learn more about this qualification from the student handbook which will be available on the Comcare website shortly (under Training).
