Comcare CEO, Martin Dolan, has announced today that he will be leaving Comcare to take up a position as Chief Commissioner of the Australian Transport Safety Bureau effective from 1 July 2009.
Mr Dolan said he is honoured and delighted to have been chosen to lead this newly-independent authority. He leaves Comcare with mixed feelings: with regret to be leaving and confidence in Comcare’s capability.
“Comcare is well positioned to manage any of the possible futures that may face it. I am extremely proud of the capability Comcare staff have built into the organisation and I leave knowing it is one of the best places to work in the Commonwealth,” Mr Dolan said.
Steve Kibble will be Acting CEO of Comcare from 1 July while the government finalises the process of selecting and appointing a new CEO.
