
In July 2010, Comcare implemented the 2015 Strategic Plan. In line with the 2015 Strategic Plan, Comcare’s Research Team has developed a suite of surveys to gain greater insights into key client groups, including injured workers.
The Research Team has developed a new injured worker survey to gain a better understanding of the attitudes, perceptions and experiences of injured workers.
An external research company called the Social Research Centre will conduct the injured worker survey by telephone during May and June 2011 on behalf of Comcare. Participation in the survey will be voluntary.
The Social Research Centre and Comcare will maintain strict confidentiality of any information provided by injured workers in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. Individual responses will not be identifiable to employers, employer’s insurer or treating practitioners. Please note participation in the survey will not affect any claims in any way.
The injured worker survey will be conducted twice a year in April/May and October/November.
