Comcare’s Centre of Excellence in Mental Health and Wellbeing at Work

Comcare’s Centre of Excellence in Mental Health and Wellbeing at Work aims to promote mental health and wellbeing at work and help prevent psychological injury to improve individual and organisational resilience.

Through the Centre of Excellence, Comcare’s work is informed by:

  • Experts through an Advisory Group
  • Experience of Scheme employers through a Community of Practice; and
  • Evidence of research.

The Advisory Group

The Advisory Group to the Centre of Excellence brings together best thinking, drawing on researcher, practice and new ideas to identify solutions that meet worker needs and improve scheme outcomes in psychological health and wellbeing.

Advisory Group members include researchers, psychologists, psychiatrists, a general practitioner and a scheme employer.

The Advisory Group provided a vision statement defining what the 21st century workplace will look like in order to deliver the health benefits of good work and promote the health and wellbeing of workers.
