The types of evidence that may be used in an audit include:
- documentation (such as reports, minutes of meetings, policies and procedures)
- rehabilitation files
- interviews with relevant personnel
- workplace observations
- IT system reviews.
The audit should include assessment of the following five elements:
1. commitment and corporate governance
2. planning
3. implementation
4. measurement and evaluation
5. review and improvement.
