Approved Rehabilitation Providers

Comcare is responsible for ensuring that employers have access to a group of skilled and cost effective rehabilitation providers. It is important that employers know the level of service and professional assistance to expect from rehabilitation providers to ensure the success of return to work outcomes. Employers and approved rehabilitation providers should therefore be familiar with Comcare's approval process, operational standards and on-going assessment methods.

Employers and approved rehabilitation providers should negotiate performance issues having regard to Comcare's criteria and standards for approved rehabilitation providers. Where necessary and appropriate, agencies should engage providers under the terms of their normal contracts for services. Any complaints about provider performance can be reported to Comcare on 1300 366 979.
