The virtual office is a web-based tool that provides a range of information on most office-based hazards. Whilst this list is a sample range only, it reinforces the need to use a risk management approach when identifying and controlling office based hazards.

Virtual office includes easy to navigate links to occupational health and safety (OHS) regulatory and guidance material for Commonwealth agencies that may be used in the development of OHS policies and procedures.

Enter into the virtual office in three easy steps.

  1. Click on the desired room.
  2. Click on each object for checklists of associated hazards and possible solutions.
  3. Click on the links for more information under these headings on the topic pages.
