Workplace bullying is repeated, unreasonable behaviour directed towards a person or groups of persons at a workplace. It constitutes significant risk to the health, safety and wellbeing of individuals and can lead to serious psychological injury and other illness.
Workplace bullying is an issue of concern for all employers as bullying results in real costs to both the organisation and individuals. It should be managed using the same risk assessment and control processes that other workplace hazards are subject to.
