Plant licensing, registration & notification
Under the Occupational Health and Safety (Safety Standards) Regulations 1994 employers have certain obligations relating to plant licensing, registration and notification.
What plant requires design registration or a licence?
Schedule 6 of the Safety Standards Regulations lists plant requiring design registration and plant requiring a licence.
Applications for single items of plant
Please allow at least 10 working days for the processing of all application forms.
Applications for multiple (10 or more) items of plant
Please allow at least 10 working days for the processing of all application forms.
Pressure Vessel Assessor
The Pressure Vessel Assessor only relates to plant licensing, not plant registration. The Unfired Pressure Vessel Assessor can be applied to many jurisdictions; however the forms above are only applicable to the Commonwealth jurisdiction.
