Reporting an injury or illness

Employers will have their own internal procedures for monitoring employees' health and safety at work, including reporting of workplace accidents and incidents. This enables employers to identify trends, manage health and safety risks, and provide early support to affected employees.

If an incident meets the notification criteria, employers must notify Comcare regardless of whether a claim for compensation can be made.
