Major Hazard Facilities Approved Assessors
Employers in control of a major hazard facility (MHF) must apply to Comcare for a licence to operate the facility.
In preparation for this application, an employer must develop a safety report for the facility, and have this report assessed by an Approved Assessor.
An Approved Assessor is required to prepare an assessment of the safety report for the MHF, accompanied by an executive summary. The employer submits the executive summary to Comcare in support of their application.
