Heads of Workers' Compensation Authorities

Comcare also takes part in the Heads of Workers’ Compensation Authorities (HWCA) group with other Australian and New Zealand workers’ compensation authorities. HWCA promotes and implements best practice in workers’ compensation arrangements in Australia and New Zealand in policy and legislative matters, regulation and scheme administration.

Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy

The Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy 2012–2022 is a framework to drive improvements in work health and safety in Australia. It promotes a collaborative approach between the Commonwealth, state and territory governments, industry and unions and other organisations to achieve the vision of healthy, safe and productive working lives.

The Australian Strategy has been developed by Safe Work Australia in consultation with a range of stakeholders. Comcare is working with other work health and safety regulators and key stakeholders to work towards achieving the vision and outcomes of the Australian Strategy.
