Comcare, in a strategic partnership with the Australian Public Service Commission (a registered RTO), provides training and assessment in Certificate IV in Government—Injury Rehabilitation Management. Case Managers and Rehabilitation Providers now have the opportunity to gain a formal qualification through training, or recognition of existing skills.

Certificate IV in Government—Injury Rehabilitation Management (PSP40904)

The Certificate IV in Government—Injury Rehabilitation Management is a specialist qualification suitable for Case Managers, Return to Work Coordinators, or Approved Rehabilitation Program Providers working within the Comcare Scheme.

The Certificate IV in Government—Injury Rehabilitation Management is awarded when you:

  1. Participate in the Comcare and the APSC training course and undertaking the assessment processes.
  2. Undertake in the RPL (recognition of prior learning) process with Comcare and the APSC.
  3. Undertake in a blend of training courses, assessment and RPL.

You will also need to demonstrate your skills and knowledge against 15 units of competency. These 15 units are an essential skill set for effective case management within the Comcare scheme.

Statement of Attainment—Contribute to workplace safety (PSOHS301A)

A Statement of Attainment is suitable for any employee working under the Comcare scheme.

A Statement of Attainment—Contribute to Workplace Safety is awarded when you:

  1. Participate in the Comcare one-day training course WHS Act in a day, and undertaking the assessment process.
  2. Undertake the RPL (recognition of prior learning) with Comcare.

To be issued with the Statement of Attainment—Contribute to Workplace Safety (PSOHS301A), you will need to demonstrate your skills and knowledge against the unit of competency.
