
Comcare, in a strategic partnership with the Australian Public Service Commission (a registered RTO), provides training and assessment in Certificate IV in Government – Injury Rehabilitation Management.
Case Managers and Rehabilitation Providers now have the opportunity to gain a formal qualification either through training, or recognition of existing skills.
The Certificate IV in Government – Injury Rehabilitation Management is a specialist qualification suitable for Case Managers, Return to Work Coordinators, or Approved Rehabilitation Program Providers working within the Comcare Scheme.
You can be awarded the Certificate IV in Government – Injury Rehabilitation Management by:
1. Participating in the Comcare and the APSC training course and undertaking the assessment processes
2. Undertaking the RPL (recognition of prior learning) process with Comcare and the APSC
3. Undertaking a blend of training courses, assessment and RPL
To be awarded the Certificate IV in Government – Injury Rehabilitation Management, you will need to demonstrate your skills and knowledge against 15 units of competency. These 15 units have been prescribed as an essential skill set for effective Case Management within the Comcare scheme.
