How to apply / Recognition of skills

To enrol for the Certificate IV Government (Injury Rehabilitation Management) or the Statement of Attainment (Contribute to Workplace Safety) please refer to the Registration page.

Confirmation of enrolment

The Certificate IV Coordinator will confirm your enrolment into the qualification and assist you with any queries you may have in relation to training attendance, the assessment process or other queries you may have in relation to the qualification.

Learning pathways

Face to face training attendance

Review the current Training Calendar and include chosen dates on your enrolment form, or alternatively advise via email to learning.development@comcare.gov.au

Recognition of prior learning

If you are considering applying for recognition of prior learning (RPL), review the booklets below and consider whether you will be able to compile evidence against the competencies using both the self assessment guides and the evidence checklists.  If you think you will be able to compile sufficient evidence, indicate that you will be working through the RPL process on your enrolment form, or alternatively advise via email to learning.development@comcare.gov.au

Mutual recognition / Credit transfer

If you have already achieved competency in a particular unit of competency then you need to provide a copy of you statement of attainment, qualification or partial qualification to your assessor. If this document was issued by a registered training organisation then you will receive credit for that competency under the Commonwealth Government’s ‘Mutual Recognition’ arrangement. Send a certified copy to learning.development@comcare.gov.au for review by an assessor.
