Advanced communication

The course fee is $1350 (GST inclusive) and includes course materials, catering and assessment for the Cert IV in Government–Injury Rehabilitation Management.

This two-day interactive program focuses on the continual development of the broad range of communication and customer service skills needed by case managers to work effectively with all stakeholders in the return to work process.

It forms an integral part of the Certificate IV in Government—Injury Rehabilitation Management qualification and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to:

  • use advanced workplace communication strategies
  • deliver and monitor service to clients
  • to undertake negotiations—all delivered in the context of rehabilitation case management.

Participants will also gain:

  • tips on improving their communication skills
  • a good understanding of running successful meetings and case conferences
  • confidence to negotiate to achieve successful outcomes.
