Case management essentials
The course fee is $1,050 (GST inclusive) and includes course materials and catering or $1,145 with assessment for the Certificate IV in Government—Injury Rehabilitation Management.
This two-day course provides the information needed by new case managers, or those refreshing their skills in the injury management field, to actively undertake the challenging role of a rehabilitation case manager/return to work coordinator.
Participants attending this program will gain the skills required to:
- undertake initial rehabilitation assessments
- conduct situation workplace assessments
- develop return to work plans
- implement and monitor return to work plans.
Participants will gain an understanding of:
- Comcare and Comcare’s injury management and return to work model
- the legislation that they will be working under—the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988
- the roles and responsibilities of those working in the specialist field on injury rehabilitation management.
