Approved Rehabilitation Program Providers

The course fee is $745 (GST inclusive) and includes course materials and catering.

Comcare’s operational standards for Approved Rehabilitation Program Providers require all providers working under the SRC Act to attend this one-day training program as an introduction to working within the Commonwealth workers’ compensation system. It outlines Comcare’s return to work model, information on the SRC Act, procedural aspects of the return to work process and examines issues which may arise during the return to work process.

Approved Rehabilitation Provider review and refresh workshop

This half-day workshop is designed as a refresher for your Comcare Approved Rehabilitation Program Providers who have attended the Comcare training for Approved Rehabilitation Program Providers and are wanting to keep their knowledge of working within the Commonwealth Jurisdiction current.

On successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

describe changes to legislation, policies, guidelines including S41 guidelines, operational standards
identify changes and trends within the Commonwealth Jurisdiction
review complex injury cases to identify and overcome return to work barriers
recognise emerging markets for services provided.
