Learning & Development Solutions

The Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act) enables certain Commonwealth authorities and eligible corporations to apply to the Commission for a license to self-insure their workers’ compensation liabilities and/or claims management. These organisations also automatically transfer to the Commonwealth's occupational health and safety legislation.

Comcare offers licensees and their workers’ compensation providers a variety of tailored injury prevention and injury management training programs for supervisors, rehabilitation case managers, return to work coordinators, OHS practitioners, Health and Safety Representatives and claims managers designed to:

  • give managers and supervisors an improved understanding of their roles and responsibilities under the SRC and OHS Acts
  • enable accuracy, consistency and fairness in decision making under the SRC Act
  • assist in achieving compliance under the OHS Act
