About Virtual Office

Virtual Office is a risk management tool to help you identify hazards and control risks in an office environment.

It is designed to assist persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU), workers and health and safety representatives (HSR's) operating under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) (WHS Act).

It can be used when:

  • developing and reviewing your health and safety policies
  • developing practical solutions for applying the risk management principles of the Occupational Health and Safety Code of Practice 2008
  • looking for specific guidance on common objects or hazards found in the workplace.

Virtual Office uses a cross section of typical rooms found in an office environment. Where appropriate, Virtual Office provides links to relevant publications, guidance material and legislation.
