Functionality of space

• Photocopy room is too small to accommodate equipment and allow for work to be performed
  
• Inappropriate height of bench surface for the nature of the work being done
  
• Workbench space insufficient or unsuitable for work tasks

• Provide a workbench or table with a working surface which is large enough and height adjustable for efficient and ergonomically correct use for the work to be performed
  
• Remove any non-essential equipment to allow increased workspace on workbench
  
• Create a storage plan to maximise efficient use of space 

Inadequate storage for consumables

• Inadequate storage for range and volume of consumable materials

• Identify and list all consumable materials needed in the photocopy room and establish inventory levels to be maintained for these
• Provide appropriate storage for materials adjacent to or above workbench (e.g. shelving and or enclosed cupboards)
  
• Provide appropriate storage to safely store hand tools within easy reach whilst working at the bench
