  • Defence standard for high risk diving work

    Members of the Defence Force carry out high risk diving work. In recognition of the sometimes unique nature of Defence’s diving activities and the circumstances in which it might be conducted from time to time, special provision was made in regulation 183(2) for Comcare to approve a standard, to replace AS/NZS 2299, for the regulation of this work.



 

  • Framework for setting premiums (PUB 097)

    This policy outlines the framework for how Comcare's CEO determines the premiums payable by Commonwealth agencies and the ACT Government for each financial year.



 


 

  • Health, Safety and Wellbeing policy

    At Comcare we are committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of our people and visitors. This includes the physical and mental aspects of our work. This policy sets out the guidelines that we follow to ensure this happens.



 

  • Pharmacy Policy

    Our Comcare Pharmacy Policy emphasises safely prescribing medicines—especially those that can be misused such as benzodiazepines and opiates. In our policy we also clarify injured employees' entitlements to access the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

  • Pharmacy pricing policy

    This policy sets the maximum pricing and fees for private pharmacy items. In our policy we also clarify the clinical rationale for a complementary medications and over the counter items. This policy is effective from 1 June 2013.



 

  • Privacy Policy

    This privacy policy outlines our personal information handling practices, provides transparency about our operations, and gives individuals a better understanding of the personal information we hold including the way we handle that information.
