New scheme guidance for claims managers (News)

Comcare is pleased to launch four new scheme guidance publications to assist claims managers in applying the provisions of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (the SRC Act).
The scheme guidance is available on Comcare’s website.
Incapacity payments
- No present liability determinations.
Permanent impairment
- Interest rate for permanent impairment.
Review and reconsideration of determinations
- Extent of power of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
Death claims
- Compensation for injuries resulting in death.
