CEO welcome
Jennifer Taylor, Comcare CEO encourages you to apply to be a part of Comcare's Graduate Program.
Hello and welcome to Comcare.
Since its introduction in 2003 the Comcare Graduate Program has introduced exceptionally talented and enthusiastic young people to our workforce. Most developed rewarding careers with Comcare. Others have spread their wings to take up roles in the wider Australian Public Service (APS).
We invite final-year students and recent graduates to apply to join Comcare.
At Comcare our focus is to keep federal workers healthy and safe. Nothing is more important than people returning home safe to their families, friends and community. We hope that, through the commitment of all of us here at Comcare, workplaces will increasingly get the health and safety message.
For people harmed at work, we're committed to providing support to help them recover from workplace injury and return to work and independence.
You can join our people in their work across Australia and be sure that your skills, training and life experience will make a meaningful contribution.
Graduates enter Comcare with a permanent role at the APS4 Level. This provides a substantial start to a career, with the promise of in-depth work and responsibilities. Across the 12 month program, graduates participate in work rotations. The program involves a comprehensive learning and development agenda.
Comcare's Graduate Program is hosted at our hub office in Canberra's Civic centre.
Interstate Graduates receive support to relocate to Canberra. New graduates will be matched up with a 'buddy' who is a previous graduate to help with settling in. We'll pay for your personal and professional development to help you grow your career potential.
We'll also make sure there's time for fun. We pay for your membership of the Social Network of Graduates – SNoG – a not-for-profit organisation that organises social activities and events for graduates to meet new people and form new friendships in and around the ACT.
I encourage you to apply to be a part of Comcare's Graduate Program
Jennifer Taylor, CEO
