Comcare scheme performance information

Comcare has released a new scheme performance webpage to promote the performance of the Comcare scheme. It provides employers, employees and other interested stakeholders with information about the scheme’s performance.

Under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act) and the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS Act) Comcare has functions to collect, analyse and publish statistics relating to work health and safety and rehabilitation.

Publishing scheme performance information promotes transparency and helps drive ongoing improvement across the Comcare scheme. It aligns with our objective of supporting participation and productivity through healthy and safe workplaces that minimise the impact of harm in workplaces covered by Comcare.

The interactive design of our scheme performance information supports and improves user experience and provides information that is easy to use, efficient to find, and meets the needs of our target audiences. The publishing of this information is also in response to requests from employers in the Comcare scheme for more comparative data.

Scheme performance information will help to raise the profile of our headline performance measures in an engaging way. Presenting complex scheme performance information in a format that is visually appealing and easy to understand will improve our overall engagement with the Comcare scheme.

The design of the webpage connects the reader with other Comcare resources that provide more detailed information or practical advice on specific topics. This design also presents future opportunities to connect different programmes and initiatives back to our scheme performance information.

Scheme performance information will be updated quarterly.
