Comcare national forums to encourage safer workplaces

Comcare will deliver a series of forums across Australia over the coming months to promote better work health and safety practices.

The annual WHS forums give participants an overview of existing and emerging issues across Comcare’s diverse jurisdiction that covers around 400,000 employees nationally.

This year’s theme is Engaging others and tackling WHS risk, offering organisations the chance to improve their understanding of WHS and rehabilitation obligations and adopt better practices. The program includes updates from the inspectorate and sessions covering prevention, risk management and safety culture.

The forums are also an opportunity for networking and sharing work health and safety challenges with a range of WHS practitioners.
