Type of Occurrence Classification System (TOOCS)

Overview

This course provides participants working in the field of workers’  compensation in the Commonwealth jurisdiction with the skills and knowledge to  correctly apply the TOOCS classification codes in relation to health and safety  incidents in the workplace. The course describes the sixteen rules for coding  workplace injuries or incidents in line with TOOCS.
Participants must bring a copy of the Type of Occurrence Classification Systems  3rd Edition Revision 1 to the course.

Audience

This course is aimed at those who determine initial claim liability,  such as claims managers or those who use TOOCS to code WHS incidents in the  workplace.

Duration

Half day.
