Workers’ Compensation: a payroll perspective


This practical course provides participants with a basic understanding of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act) and builds knowledge about the information Comcare requires from premium paying agencies to determine claims for workers' compensation leave (incapacity payments). Particular emphasis is placed on calculating entitlements and how this relates to completing Comcare's forms.


This course is aimed at workers' compensation claims administrators, in particular payroll or human resource staff of premium paying agencies.
