Comcare expects that all attendees at the Comcare Conference (including the dinner) will behave in an orderly manner, and:
If you or your staff are concerned about someone's behaviour, you should report it to Comcare staff at the conference. Any person that displays abusive, threatening, or violent behaviour, or acts in a way that disrupts or affects the enjoyment of the Conference (including the dinner), will be directed to leave the conference immediately. The AFP and the person's employer may also be notified.
The National Convention Centre Canberra and the National Arboretum Canberra may also require removal of any person who fails to behave in an orderly manner during the event. Where appropriate, Comcare may issue a warning rather than requiring a person to leave immediately. If the person continues to behave inappropriately, they may be asked to leave.
No refunds or compensation will be given where a person has been refused entry or where a person’s participation at the Conference (including the dinner) is suspended or terminated because of their behaviour.
Photos and video will be taken at the conference and social functions. A range of photos will be available on our website and may be used for promotional activities, print and online.
If you prefer not to be involved or have any concerns regarding the conference photography and/or videography, please contact the conference team prior to the event or speak to a Comcare representative onsite.
