New scheme guidance for claims managers

Comcare has released a new scheme guidance publication to assist claims managers in applying the provisions of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act).

Establishing whether there has been an aggravation to a pre-existing or underlying medical condition under the SRC Act provides guidance on relevant considerations when determining liability for an aggravation of an injury (other than a disease) or ailment.
