Comcare regularly holds events and forums to provide opportunities for organisations to share expertise and drive best practice in the sector.
While our face-to-face events are suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are still able to offer some events online.
Our events aim to educate, enhance and challenge Australian organisations to achieve their workplace safety, compensation and rehabilitation objectives. They also offer participants the opportunity to network with industry peers and take part in various discussions and activities.
Some of our upcoming events are:
This forum provides an opportunity for claims managers and other scheme stakeholders to discuss matters of common interest under the Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act).
Comcare’s next Rehabilitation Case Manager forum discusses strategies for supporting and motivating employees, and effectively engaging psychologists and treating doctors.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreaks across Australia, that have caused travel disruptions and border closures at short notice, Comcare has decided to postpone the 2021 Comcare National Conference until 2022.
We had planned a face-to-face two-day conference for May in Canberra, however the situation across Australia remains unpredictable and the health and safety of our attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors is our main priority.
The 2021 Comcare National Work Health and Safety Awards will still go ahead in May 2021 and will be delivered virtually. Further announcements will be made shortly.
