Driving Health seminar series looks at health and wellbeing for truck drivers
17 March 2022
What does a healthy truck driver ‘look like’ and how can drivers stay healthy on the road are some of the topics covered in the free Driving Health seminar series this March.
Over the last three years, Comcare has supported the Monash University-led Driving Health study which has undertaken extensive research into the physical and mental health of Australian truck drivers. Major areas of concern have been identified and the findings are ready to be shared.
What will the seminars cover?
Driver health and safety, solutions-based topics and networking opportunities make up the free series. Seminars will feature industry experts as well as the chance to hear directly from truck drivers themselves.
When will the seminars be held?
The seminars have been running throughout March, with the final event on Wednesday 30 March. Previous seminars are available to watch on demand.
Who should attend?
The series is open to everyone. However, if you’re a health and safety officer, regulator, employer, or manager of drivers, we highly recommend you attend.
