Plant registration
Some plant design and items of plant must be registered, under the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (WHS Regulations).
Register plant design
The items of plant design that need to be registered are listed in Registration of plant and plant designs—schedule 5 of the WHS Regulations.
To apply, submit the Design Registration (or Variation of Design) of an Item of Plant application form (PDF, 201.5 KB).

Register plant items
The items of plant that need to be registered are listed in Registration of plant and plant designs—schedule 5 of the WHS Regulations.
To apply for plant item and design registration, submit:
- Registration of an Item of Plant application form (PDF, 214.0 KB)
- Multiple Items of Plant registration form (PDF, 49.0 KB).– can be used only where plant is located at the same address.

It is no longer a condition of plant registration that Comcare be provided with annual plant maintenance notification.
