Permanent impairment guide

The Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (SRC Act) provides for payment of lump sum compensation for permanent impairment and non-economic loss resulting from a work-related injury, provided the degree of permanent impairment is assessed as at least 10 per cent or at least 5 per cent in the case of binaural hearing loss. The degree of permanent impairment (if any) is to be assessed by reference to this guide.
